“It's like I am inside this ethereal sphere wherein exists no logic, no reasoning, no typicality, no explanations, no realism, no comparisons, nothing ordinary, and no normalcy. And then if you are to understand me, you have to step into my realm and leave all of those things behind. I'm not typical. I'm not ordinary. And I'm not normal. And I never will be . So I don't see the point of waking up in the morning and wishing to be so.” --C. Joybell C.
I can't help but notice how similar Zara's May collection is to models' streetstyle during fashion week. It's not hard to imagine Abbey Lee in the lace maxi, maybe with a mink stole and round sunglasses. Really, I would say this collection is far better suited for Freja Beha, Josephine Skriver, and other people of that height/style. However, it's reminded me to invest in classic pieces/shades rather than trendy come-and-go types.
And, now that school's done with, I can go to Zara as well (it's an hour away by car, but I think it'll be worth the trip.)
