Karlie Kloss finally made a return to Paris Fashion Week after missing New York, London, and Milan. She opened Anthony Vaccarello in a navy satin suit and dark makeup. The Daily Mail says, "An editor at Elle.com who attended the Vaccarello show revealed to Fashionista.com that Miss Kloss had refused all catwalk opportunities because she had been due to film a commercial in Japan. Apparently, though, it all fell through, putting her back on the runway in time for Paris Fashion Week." I love the suit Karlie was wearing; it complements her 6 feet frame well!
I first saw this video on the Nylon Mag website, and I seem to be hitting replay every time it ends! Everything about it is so carefree, fresh, and young, and it really represents the Chloe woman well. I can't identify the model..anyone want to fill me in?
I'm absolutely loving these shots of well-heeled showhoppers and various models fresh from the runway..streetstyle really gives us (well me, at least) non fashion industry related people a close look on what it's really like. Anna Dello Russo as usual took the daring leap in a rather sophisticated cream colored dress with..a car on it? Anyway, enjoy the pictures--which some of you might recognize from my Tumblr.
Makeup artist James Kaliardos and hair stylist Odile Gilbert showed off their masterpieces at Rodarte's fall 2012 collection. The models sported "geisha" style cheeks with NARS makeup, and gold pins and stars in their short bobs. I think the makeup complimented the floral, patterned clothes perfectly.
I know that I only just made a post on Tory Burch, but her spring 2012 lookbook is too beautiful not to blog. Anna Selezneva, Shu Pei, and Kate King took a trip to a beach club in Miami, and posed in completely retro, ladylike creations. I'm also head over heels in the sunglasses..The oversized ones that Kate are wearing are gorgeous.
Kate Moss looks stunning in these new ads for Mango, a Spanish label. Completely 60's (with the B/W and retro style and all) but totally wearable in 2012..something only Kate could do!
P.S--if you go to the Mango website here, she's already on the front page!
Jessica Alba stunned at the Michael Kors Fall 2012 show in a black and teal dress with cut-out detailing by the designer, black heels, and red lips. As the Daily Mail puts it, "Jessica Alba managed to outshine the models at Michael Kors' show at New York Fashion Week today." I'm loving the gold-and-black rope bracelet as well, with the matching earrings- gold always looks amazing with teal.
Burberry's fall 2012 collection was the perfect combination of class and grunge- as Vogue puts it, "A whiff of Edwardian tweedy country elegance hung in the air at Burberry Prorsum." The combination of studs and woolen lace is just impossibly chic.

I recently purchased this army green cargo tote bag from Bookmarc, a stationary shop owned by Marc by Marc Jacobs. It's honestly a bit too large for me but I love the detailing- the MJ on the zipper, on the back of the bag, etc. I saw this guy walk into the store with the same tote bag but from a couple seasons ago- and it looks really great when it's broken in, so I'm excited for that. Sorry for the awkward background- we're in the process of moving and this was the best place possible. I also do realize that I need to improve on my camerawork..

“For Fall 2012, we were inspired by the idea of a prim girl who’s under the spell of the wrong kind of guy. She’s an innocent, unaware of her own sex appeal. The setting? The hotel where they meet.” — Tory Burch
I'm absolutely in love with Tory's fall RTW collection. The clothes were ladylike and classic, yet with edge- amazingly polished and perfectly fall-like with tweed jackets, tulle and chiffon dresses, and plaid.
