My newest obsession: pasta shaped earrings from Dolce&Gabbana. Seems ridiculous at first but when you understand that the designers found inspiration in their Italian roots and incorporated that into their designs, etc etc, the earrings look brilliant. On the runway:

I suppose it looks good partly because of the fact that the model is Anja Rubik but I still love this modern take on Italian culture.
